Wilmington is such a beautiful place! I just finished playing Mozart's Requiem with the Carolina Vocal Arts Ensemble. It was a good concert. The soloists were very good and the orchestra was good as well. That is a hard piece to do in one rehearsal with a pickup orchestra, but it went smoothly. I killed the solo in the Tuba Mirum movement. I got to hang out on Saturday with my buddy josh Tillman who played trumpet. We got lunch and took a tour of Kure beach. Such a cool place to be. Well, off to bed to drive to Alabama tomorrow. Later.
